You can go through about three chains before the rear sprocket shows any wear. That website misses a point about chain size. The numbers are in 1/8" of an inch. A 520 chain is 5/8" between the pin centers and 2/8" across the rollers (1/4"). The 525 is 5/8" pitch and 2.5" eights roller width (5/16").

The KTM 1190 Adventure R can take you through any terrain and riding conditions imaginable with the utmost comfort and style. A variety of modern technologies are installed into the bike to make your ride as stable as possible. It includes a first-in-the-world lean-sensitive cornering ABS that is unique to this model.
At 229kg without fuel it’s 12kg heavier than the 1190 (mainly due to the bigger tank, heavier crank, and additional cornering lights and crash-bars). Its hyper-comfortable two-part seat is slightly wider but the same height, adjustable between 860 and 875mm albeit a bit fiddly to do so.
